The main L.E.A.P.S. program objective is to provide non-traditional students with an innovative and alternative educational experience to support students who need additional services to succeed in a traditional school setting.

This delivery modality is designed to allow students to complete their core and elective credits using an online model that allows students to recover credits, or prepare for their GED.

The secondary objective is to provide training to students with leadership skills that focus on work readiness and entrepreneurship.


Leadership Development

By utilizing curriculum developed from theory and practice using several leadership principles, the L.E.A.P.S. program is intends to teach and build strong leadership character traits for our students.

Our program combines a number of approaches ranging from the classroom setting, and electronic components to positive peer culture building and decision-making modeling and service learning. Our program provides leadership skills, character education, healthy lifestyle management, drug and alcohol prevention, as well as anti-bullying education. Our expectations are to see positive changes in students’ knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and decision-making, which will be assessed and evaluated.

Entrepreneurship Program 

L.E.A.P.S participants will be part of a unique and dynamic entrepreneurship program. Each participant will utilize the newly developed leadership skills to learn how to be a part of a high functioning learning team. This team will be mentored and trained on how to take an idea and develop a business product, strategic plan, marketing strategy  and implementation into a functioning business in the mall setting.  The program will require students to develop a new product or service. This is a model based on experiential learning.


Academics

The L.E.A.P.S. program is designed to work in partnership with a variety of local and state agencies. The objective is to provide an educational alternative and option for participants to gain credits during their entrepreurship experience. With an academic component designed to provide participants with the opportunity to complete additional academic requirements with a self paced, individualized educational experience.


Products and Services

The products and services that will be distributed by L.E.A.P.S. Inc. will be develop through a learning process by the students and their business coach and mentors. The phase of the program will be for those students who have competed their time requirements for completing their educational commitments. This resource is also designed to engage a variety of students in life skills, and accounting classes, business clubs, home school groups, and any other youth group who finds this type of experience beneficial. Located inside the Karcher Mall in Nampa Idaho. The L.E.A.P.S. program has several functioning business. Including the famous L.E.A.P.S. Café!
