Impact Coaching — Life of an Athlete

This coaching course provides administrators and coaches an opportunity to affect a schools climate. This course focuses on engaging high schools and middle schools through athletics with a focus on drug and alcohol prevention curriculum. This innovative structure allows for educator’s to engage in professional development while impacting there community through parent involvement, and positive peer pressure and leadership development used unify the message of positive choices in the community through athletics.


School Implementation Phases

Phase 1
Coaches effectiveness training on chemical health and mentor trainings
(2.5 hours training)

Phase 2
Athlete and Parent pre-season meeting middle & High school
(2.5 hours training)

Phase 3
Stakeholder and community unity universal message
(2.5 hours training)

Phase 4
Athletic Codes of conduct conditions for involvement in program
(2.5 hours training)

Phase 5
Developing leadership skills and character education to confront issues
(2.5 hours training)

*30 hours of implementation time and activities required for professional development credit.


Professional Development Credit for Educators

This program is designed to provide you (1) professional development credit for the comprehensive implementation of the program from theory and application. The educational requirements are 15 hours educational hours and 30 hours of out-of-class implementation (learning teams).

Cost: $3,500.00 (includes high school and middle school)

Professional development (1) credit $150.00 per coach for each training
